They Hold a Special Place in My Heart
Posted by AnimalPsychic
This is my team, Shadow and Angie. These two certainly do hold a special place in my heart.
I have a long history with pets and animal companions, ranging from dogs, cats, horses, and assorted caged critters. I have also lived on a farm with pigs and goats. As an intuitive I began my exploration of the aura with my first dog, Rontu. I gently and quietly moved my hand toward the edge of his aura, the energy field around his body. He’d open his eyes and say, “quit playing with my energy, I’m trying to sleep”, then resume his nap.
Shadow has been with me for about 10 years. She was an abandoned puppy, and I had no choice but to bring this precious animal home with me. For the next few years she was a handful. She gave no regard for barriers, climbing over the gate when I tried to keep her in the bathroom. She never considered the attempts by the older dogs to take her place in the pack, no, Shadow was always number one. What Shadow wants, Shadow gets, and I was amazed to see her slowly sneak up on another dog and gracefully take their bone from them. This dog has guts! She’s been a lifesaver to me though, holding a special place in my heart that my human companion’s have found challenging to surpass. Shadow is a spiritually wise animal as well, and is attuned as a Reiki Master.
Angie was also an abandoned animal, but in a more civilized way. Her owners moved, and decided not to take this sweet lab with them. She is a water dog, as is apparent in this photo. Angie has bonded with my son, and often sleeps in the hallway outside his door, and its clear that she thinks the world of him. The feeling is reciprocated, and on many occasions Angie has joined him on outings and walks. We do love our walks, and my precious pack and I can be found at the off-leash park or on the beach on many afternoons.
