Tips On Working With Your New Puppy
Posted by Jackie MichaelsIf you love puppies and hopefully want to have one of your own, but worried that you may not give it ample care and training then your worries is over. We can help you handle this situation. We can help you handle the activities of your puppy from its chewing, digging, house breaking and more. We will be there for you and your puppy all throughout especially during your adjustment period on your first week together.
A schedule for training, feeding and socializing will be prearranged during her first week and this is very important part of him. You need to follow all the rules that are indicated in the schedules. If your puppy should be sleeping on her crate but then after his cute whining you cannot help but let her sleep at your own bed, you are not helping her at all.
You need to keep her calm in few weeks so do not bring her on places where it is crowded with people. If it is her time to be fed then you have to feed her even if it means waking up at night and going out of your busy way to be able to get to do this. Always remember sticking to the schedules and rules that has been arranged for your puppy.
Use his toys when playing with him and praise him if he uses them. You do not have to hurt or do something harsh on your puppy if he does something wrong. You have to know that everything that he does is natural for him. He has no boundaries with understanding wrong and right unless you teach him. During the first week you need to keep his excitement at minimum level so you need to control how much activity and excitement the dog receives.
If there are times that she will be alone because of your work or other regular activities then make her used to it. Let him wake up and whines for sometime and do not come to her rescue right away. You also need a veterinarian and schedule her first visit. Ask the vet when the right time for her to socialize with the other dogs is. Then you can now schedule her training and socialization classes.
These rules, training and schedules are very important for making your healthy and well adjusted to her environment. Training a puppy ahead of time will make it easy for you to make decisions on scheduling and house breaking. Having this program will help you and your dog to have a wonderful relationship together.
