Finding My Shadow Part 2

Posted by AnimalPsychic

There we were, at a campground, with an untrained, unpredictable puppy. Eric decided to retired early, especially early for a 10 year old boy. He seemed to be comfortable enough in the back of the pickup, well protected by the canopy. The puppy was quiet, seeming very content.

Early the next morning, just past sunrise, the owner of the truck peaked in on the sleeping pair. The puppy acted distant, growling at the intrusion. Then my son woke up, and the puppy did a complete turn-around, becoming social and happy again. Even at this early age she was protecting her family, or for a herding dog perhaps we should say, “her flock”. Not even 12 hours had passed since joining our clan, and she had already secured a special place in our hearts.

We quickly learned that this darling little puppy was a dynamo. She had her own way of thinking, and only chooses to acknowledge what makes sense to her. Fastest command learned: belly rub. Least favored command: stay. You see, this dog earned her name, Shadow, and clings to my heel just as my shadow lingers behind me. Finding my Shadow proved to be a serendipidous adventure!

Matisse, Little Prince

Posted by AnimalPsychic

Matisse enjoyed the best in life, whether it was his ‘chinese food dance’ or a loving tummy rub. This photo, at age 16, echoes the joy in his heart.

One day I received a call from a friend. She was at the vet clinic. Matisse was very ill. I was asked to send a remote healing and prayer, which later brought him enough relief to interact with his family. In addition to the healing I also shared my intuitive observations, which they sadly confirmed to be the vet’s assessment, too. I described a blockage between the stomach and intenstinal tract, one of the abilities I use as a medical intuitive. I had not been told, Matisse had a tumor removed from that same spot five years prior. Because of his advanced age they decided not to risk another surgery.

With great sadness we said, ‘goodnight and blessings, little prince’.  This dog was loved beyond any description.  Matisse will always hold a special place in the hearts of his family.
